Though we mainly work Restaurants, Clubs, and Private Parties, we accomplish our goals in four basic ways.

One, we perform non-stop with no breaks to our evening.

Two, we make a “concerted” effort to pick and place material in our playlist where it takes the audience on a nice “trip”.
(Like floating down a crystal spring-fed River on a beautiful spring day...THIS is the basis for our name Mystic River)

The elements to help us in creating the “nice trip” are that all our songs must have three critical aspects.
1. Memorable music and melody line.       2.  Intelligent and Inspired Lyric         3.  Incredible Harmony

Three, we try to make the trip pleasantly “enchanting, stimulating &diverse” whether performing covers or originals.

Four, we focus on the import of how memories tie to emotions... and PLAY a lot of RETRO classics along the way.

WE TRULY feel that the “Revolution of POP MUSIC in the 60’s and 70’s...
really TAPPED into the PRIMAL instincts AND elements of “ESSENTIAL TURNED-ON MUSIC.”

Pop, Rock, Country, Country-Rock, R & B, Island and all the FAVE GENRES that budded in that MAGIC TIME ,,,
all reflected to a GREAT DEGREE....  CLASSIC character and TIMELESS relevance.

We believe that groups like The Beatles, early Stones, Moody Blues, Animals, Eagles, Credence, and, Crosby Stills and Nash will
“CARRY THAT WEIGHT” that true AFFICIANADOS of MUSIC have found in Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, and Debussy.

So by weaving THAT MAGIC into our repertoire, and seamlessly lifting and lilting our audiences we find an amazing
“happening!” They stay with us. They don’t bail ship. They sit entranced and romanced and FLOW down a seemingly
endless River of Music...Melody...and Memory for four to seven hours. That is very much what happens to us. We get
lost in the depths of our repertoire. Somehow... (“It’s a Mystery!”) ... we come out at the end of the night into a basking
glow that comes from a “Great Excursion” on the River of Life.
